From Here to There

A collaborative Installation with Kate Daughdrill for Art X Detroit at MOCAD | April 9-26, 2015

From Here to There accumulated over three growing seasons of shared conversations and labor at Burnside Farm, Kate Daughdrill’s urban farm in Detroit. Pieces in the installation dealt with gentrification, paradigm shifts in an urban context, plant medicine, trauma and healing, and the conscious cultivation of well-being within a specific community.

Daughdrill activated the installation with a variety of public programs including meals, workshops, and a ceremony dedicated to articulating and embodying shared community values.
